Records deposited in the Office of Land Revenue Records and Enrolments including: perambulations, returns of encroachment, registers of claims, rights, etc. in Dean Forest and the New Forest; deeds and awards relative to various lands, forests and property; plans and deeds concerning the fortifications of Portsmouth, Chatham and Harwich; treatises on forest law, abstracts of leases and miscellaneous correspondence and papers.

Many of the records in this series were deposited in the Office of Land Revenue Records and Enrolments under the terms of various statutes. Others were collected together in the course of enquiries concerning the Crown's rights and landed revenues.
