Description: |
William Wesley Pole. Nathaniel Denham has asked for books and papers to be dispensed with to enable him to receive his pay as Master of the Lightning and Alamene. How he is borne to the last date books were received. No satisfactory reason has been given for his non-submission of a log book for the Lightning and the usual certificate from her Captain, to this office. As he has produced a certificate from his successor in the Alamene stating that the ship's log book is in his possession, the Captain's certificate to that effect may be dispensed with. There is no objection to a bill being made out for the pay due to Mr Denham. |
