William Wellesley Pole. Lieutenant Colonel Hamilton, Lieutenant Governor of Heligoland has written regarding the men of the Majestic employed in the signal station there. Opine that the men should be discharged from the ship and paid at the same rate as signal men in England. If the Admiralty agree, will instruct Mr. Brown, the Harbour Master at Heligoland, to draw bills for their pay. |
