The Radioactive Substances Advisory Committee was established under the Radioactive Substances Act 1948 s6. In addition, the committee had sub-committees to bring outside expert advice to bear on specialist subjects. Under the Radiological Protection Act 1970, the committee was replaced by the National Radiological Protection Board Statutory Advisory Committee. |
