Judicial and other miscellaneous writs of the Plea Side of the Court of King's Bench. From 1689 -1778 this collection contains three file series; judicial writs, latitats, and writs of capias ad satisfaciendum. From 1801 the files of latitats are continued as bills of Middlesex, latitats and aliases; from c1810 they are united with the judicial writs and the bills of Middlesex formed into a separate file series. There are also some files of writs of capias and summons and writs of detainer under the Uniformity of Process Act, 1832. From 1838 to 1874 the collection consists exclusively of 'Judicial Writs', mainly writs of execution and certiorari.
