Letter from John Kirkland, Clerk to the Southwell Union Rural Sanitary Authority, to the Local Government Board, referring to the letter he sent on 20 June 1893 concerning the re-appointment of medical officers of health. He can now show the portion of the salary to be paid for the salary of the Medical Officer of Health based on rateable values. Southwell - £209, Worksop - £142, Mansfield - £49. Annotated: several short comments to sanction the re-appointment. |
