Recites intended marriage between (c) and Patience, dau. of (b); that (a) covenant to levy a fine to (b) and feoffment to John Bathurst, sen., of Staplehurst, co. Kent, clothier, and George Alfrey, of Cuckfield, yeoman, of:

 

North Knowles (17a.), Piers Linns (11a.), Bastbourne Mead (11a.), the Moore (5a.), Little Mead (2a.), the Furs (4a.), Baystebourne Field (6a.), Ashurst Field (9a.), Blowers Mead (7a.) and common of pasture for 20 sheep, and moiety of mansion house of (a) in Plumpton,

 

to the use of (a) during their lives, then to the heirs of (c).

 

Other moiety of the said mansion house, land called Barkesworth, 6a. croft by barn, Westfield (10a.), Old Orchard with 6a. field, Two Long Meads (3a.), West Furs (5a.), Ashurst Field (10a.), Blowers Field (8a.),

 

to the use of (a) and then to (c) after their decease.
