By surrender to lord by hands of John Cut in presence of Richard Hylle and John Manse, tenants of manor), which lies between land of manor in John Woode's tenure to W., and land of manor in William Ladyman's tenure to E., abutting on royal way from Brent Eleigh to Monks Eleigh to S., and on land in tenure of William Ladyman to N. Said Geoffrey took up this land 17 April 1544 in court.
