"The Berbice Plantation in British Guiana was taken over as a bad debt by some of the partners in T.W.E. & Co. and held by them until abandoned as unprofitable about 100 years ago. At my father's death, Arthur Earle as surviving Executor of William Earle of Abercromby Square took control of it and closed it all up."
