At Flempton

 

(i) Alice Donewych, widow, of Flempton, Thomas Donewych of Icklingham, Geoffrey Donewych of Flempton, Thomas Angold of Flempton, John Harrowe and William Nokhard, both of lackford

 

To (ii) Edmund Donewych and Elizabeth Smyth, maiden, of Stanfield, Thomas Skargyle, esq., John Smyth of Stanfield, father of the said Elizabeth, Roger Page of Risby, James Mell of Brockley and John Lucas of West Stow.

 

Grant of all lands, tenements, meadows, grazings and pastures in Flempton and Lackford which John Donewych, late husband of the said Alice and father of the said Edmund, purchased from Stephen Donewych, formerly of Flempton, father of the said John, and also all those lands and tenements which the said John Donewych purchased from John Ingham, formerly of Flempton, father of the said Alice; all the said lands, etc., being held, with other lands and tenements, by (i) of the feoffment of John Skarp of Fornham All Saints and John Thurston, mercer, of Bury St. Edmunds, as appears in a charter dated 16 December 1458.

 

To hold to (ii) and their heirs, of the chief lords.
