Description:

Probate copy will of Thomas Morrill of Cleobury Mortimer carpenter. He would like his grave to be about 20 or 30 yards from the middle of the N. side of the church, his body to be carried by 6 of his men who are to have 1s 6d and a pair of gloves each.

 

He gives his wife and her heirs a messuage and garden and close of land lately purchased from Ann and Edward Hemins. She is to pay all his debts. His coffin is to be made of oak boards without any lacard or brass mails on the lid and he would not have his wife give any hatbands or gloves except to the bearers

 

He devises tom his wife Sarah all the residue of his real and personal estate and appoints her sole executrix
