Draft disentailing deed 1. George Rowland Edwards of Great Ness esq. Colonel late in HM East India Service 2. John Edwards of same, residing at Folkestone, esq., eldest son of G R E 3. Mary Edwards of Great Ness spinster 4. George de Courcy Peele of Shrewsbury gentleman Recital of will of John Edwards 1834 (MI1917/1) He died 26 July 1850. Mary is now the only unmarried daughter and is in occupation of the house and 21 acres land. John son of G R E became 21 on 30 July 1871 Cons: disentailing Grant of whole to Peele, subject to mortgages, (totalling £4200), subject to G R 's life interest but discharged from other estates in tail male, to such uses and trusts as he shall appoint or in default to such of the testator's will as is capable of taking effect Note - draft approved on behalf of John Edwards by Richard Hart, Folkestone, 20 July 1872 Witnesses:- Richard Hart, solicitor, Folkestone H Holton Sturges his clerk |
