Research notebooks containing information compiled by Alfred Edwards, mostly concerning the Crediton area; Alfred Edwards' 1869 diary, mostly recording household details and some weather. The diary is accompanied by a typescript transcription, as are some of the notebooks. There are also notes by Giles Edwards, the father of Alfred.
