SCHEDULE OF DEEDS ORIGINALLY IN THE GARSWOOD ESTATE OFFICE.

Schedule of Deeds

In Lord Gerard's Office, Garswood

Report

From a business point of view; the preservation of none of these deeds seems essential - because for almost all practical purposes, they seem to be obsolete; and out of date. Those however, more nearly relating to conveyances of property ect would seem worthy of preservation, in as much as they are perhaps able, from the history of last transactions - to establish a precedent for future dealings with regard to those particular properties.

But, looked upon, as interesting and honourable family records - or as useful material for Church - history, or as objects of attraction on account of these great antiquity - or on account of these general use to the antiquarian, or to the genealogist - not a few of the deeds here deposited - are of considerable usefulness and value.
