This interesting little collection shows the application procedure at the London and the various examination papers that Miss Skeham sat. It also contains a number of prospectuses for other nurse training schools which Miss Skeham applied to after leaving the London. She went on to successfully complete her nurse training.

Elvira Skeham entered the Preliminary Training School on 12 June 1926, aged 28. Unfortunately she failed her training exams and left on 25 July 1928.
