Title: Smith collection
Description:

Deeds and some estate and other papers of the Smith family, and other families related by marriage. These include Walker of Hunshelf, Kirk, Healey of Roxby, and Bristow, all related to Walker. Deeds and papers of the Booths of Brush House and the related family of Kay, came to the Smiths as trustees. William Smith (d 1849), was a solicitor, and some few odd papers may have been acquired in a business connection. Records including:

Messingham (Lincolnshire): Estreats, with instructions for collecting, 1765-1788 (3); gamekeeper's appointment, 1810.
