Manor of Prees - court leet, view of frankpledge and court baron, Sir John Hill, bart.

 

Jonathan Nickson, steward, William Houlding of Cruckmoor, Prees, farmer, eldest son and heir and devisee named in will of his father Arthur Houlding of Prees, innholder, dated 2 September 1811, surrendered a customary messuage in Prees at Wall End (John Simpson, Mary Houlding widow of Arthur, now Richard Houlding her son) and seat in the south gallery in the parish church of Prees belonging to the house, 1 parcel customary land in Prees called Rhodens croft (Martha Moreton, after Arthur Houlding, since Mary Houlding now Richard her son), to use of such persons as he shall appoint by will or by any future surrender, and until then and after the determination of such estate, to use of William Houlding for ever.
