Note that Sir William Beauchamp assumed the surname of Proctor in 1744-5 in compliance with the will of his uncle George Proctor, from whom he inherited the Langley estate. In 1852 Sir Thomas William Brograve Beauchamp-Proctor substituted the surname of Proctor-Beauchamp for Beauchamp-Proctor.
