Testator : Arthur Weaver, sen., of Morveild [Morville], co.

 

Salop., esq. Makes void uses of capital messuage, lands, rectory and tithes of Morville granted to son, Thomas Weaver, and devises title to son, Arthur Weaver and heirs. To son, Thomas Weaver, copyhold estate in Eardington, co. Salop., tithes of Quatford, co. Salop; if he marry with testator's approval, he will settle a better estate on him.

 

To daus., Mary Acton, 5s.; Jane Browne £5

 

To grandchildren, Amphillis Browne and Jane Moseley, £5

 

To great grandchild, Sarah Moseley, £5.

 

To grandchild, John Weaver, eldest son of Arthur Weaver, all messuages lands, etc. in Tregynon, co. Mtg.

 

To grandchild, John Weaver, £10 annuity

 

To son, Arthur Weaver, messuages and lands bought from Mrs. Katherine Purcell in Forden, Pen-y-llan, Trelyslan etc., for 10 years, provided he allow £50 p.a. for maintenance of son, Edward, and for raising £1500 to be divided among Elizabeth, Anne and Mary, daus. of testator's son; then land to his grandson, Edward, charged with £40 annuity to grandchild, John Weaver, eldest son of Arthur Weaver. To son, Arthur Weaver, £1200 to buy lands worth £60 p.a. to be settled on Thomas, his 4th son, charged with £10 p.a. to grandchild, John Weaver.

 

Benefit of mortgage on lands in Kerry, co. Mtg., to son Arthur Weaver, to settle lands if forfeit, or lands bought with money, on his son, Arthur.

 

Executor : Arthur Weaver, testator's son.

 

1688, June 3 :

 

Codicil : lands in Longvill and Lushcott, co. Salop., to grandson, Thomas Weaver, in lieu of £1200, charged with £5 annuity to grandchild, John Weaver. Other small legacies.
