Historical Note

 

The Unitarian chapel opened in Lodge Road in 1875, the meeting having been in existence since 1859. In 1978 the building was sold and meetings held at the United Reformed Church in Hardware Street.

 

The Unitarian Church closed at the end of December 1994.
