Description:

From the Spurn to the West End of Sunk Island taken in February 1797 by Captain William Bligh of His Majesty's Ship "Director". A memorandum signed by Bligh is inserted regarding the best method of entering the estuary. There is also a note that Grimsby Wet Dock was inserted on the chart in 1805 from a plan by Josh. Plaskett. Published by W. Faden, Geographer to His Majesty, and to HRH the Prince of Wales Charing Cross, 23rd May 1805.
