Catalogue description Grant upon special trust: Edward Jolly of Mythop within Weeton-with-Preese gent., to James Jolly, James Shearson, and Thomas Fare, all of Great and Little Marton, husbandmen -- E.J., has for some time given 6d. a week to be laid out in bread for the poor inhabitants. So he gives £60 upon trust to J.J., J. S. & T.F., to lay out weekly 1/- in "good & wholesome bread" for the poor. But if the Chapel of Great and Little Marton which is not yet consecrated or endowed shall become a dissenting meeting house for which as is supposed it was originally intended, or if divine service is not performed, then the bread is to be given to the poor of Great and Little Singleton, and Weeton-with-Preese -- Witn.
