From: John Ryddewar' junior of Lichfield To: Thomas Wodur', goldsmith; Matilda, wife of Thomas Wodur', goldsmith; Agnes, daughter of Thomas Wodur', goldsmith, and Matilda, his wife A quarter of a burgage in 'Ropestrete' [Lichfield], lying between John's land and the land of the chantry of Colwich ('Cant' de Colwich'') and between the highway and the bishop [of Coventry and Lichfield]'s fishpond. For the lives of Thomas, Matilda and Agnes. For an annual payment of 12s, payable as specified, and a payment of 12d to the chief lord of the fee at the end of the term. Right of distraint and re-entry if payment in arrears. Conditions on repairs. Thomas, Matilda and Agnes's part of indenture. Given at Lichfield [Staffordshire]. Witnesses: John Yate, bailiff ('Ballivus') of Lichfield; William Orme; John Lymerch', Ralph Henster'; John Henster' Endorsed 'Tomas golsmit' in 15th cent hand.
