Title: Documentary Photography Archive: NEGATIVES RELATED TO THE FIRM PANORA, SCHOOL AND COLLEGE PHOTOGRAPHERS
Note:

Mr Shields has died since depositing the material and this presents a serious difficulty should there ever be a need to print from a Panora negative.

Mrs Shields told me that the business interest had been taken over by John Everitt of Surrey (0883 723287). She also made reference to a firm called School Pictures, based in Macclesfield, but they now, apparently, only do colour work. (They may now be called Colourcare).

Mr Everitt's wife explained that they do not do any printing of panoramic negatives themselves and did not know of anybody who did such work commercially. She suggested contacting either Kodak who still sell film or the Panoramic Society via the RPS or BIPP.

Mr Shields was interviewed on tape about the work of the firm and his connection with it. See D.P.A. tape numbers T24 and T25.

Earlier negatives had been destroyed and the material deposited represents more recent work. Following a number of moves these negatives had been stored in Mr Shield's garage, prior to their deposit with the D.P.A.
