Feoffees to allow wife Margaret to occupy the lands and tenements where he now dwells at Swiftsden in Etchingham and Ticehurst for life; on her death

 

1 Messuage and garden called Kenetts and Beches Garden to his brother Roger Fougyll in tail, subject to an annual rent of 2d to the occupiers of 'my principal place' and £1 to John Dowelys at 21, remainder to brother Roger Fougyll

 

2 Other lands and tenements to Godard, son of his son Thomas, at 21, in tail (subject to an annuity of 13s 4d to his mother Agnes and £3 6s 8d to his sister Richardine at marriage), remainder to his sister Richardine

 

If both remainders fail, 2 above to be sold by Richard Petter, Thomas Walsshe, John Brecher and Robert Brabon to Thomas Brecher at '20s within the price'; of the purchase-money, £10 to go to Agnes Fougyll (on the release of her annuity), £10 as he shall appoint in his lifetime, the residue to his daughters Margaret, Joan, Ann and Isabel

 

If Margaret die before Goddard attain his majority, then land called Swantwyssel to be farmed to fulfil his will
