Includes draft answers of Mayor and burgesses to bill of complaint by Abbot and his tenants over alleged riot and seizure of cattle and horses (1513). Contains evidence of long-standing dispute and previous effort at settlement; description of procession of workmen at harvest time etc., led by town's 'tabourer', to High Cross to drink
