Title: Work to churchyard
Description:

a) The churchyard of the parish of Elham was closed for burials by an Order in Council dated 4 April 1940. b) Petitioner desires to inter in the said churchyard the cremated remains of her husband Frederick William Danzey Creswell Andrews (hereinafter referred to as Mr Andrews) who being of the age of 75 years, died on 9 September 1956 and was cremated on 8 August 1957. The body of Mr Andrews was left, by his will, to St Bartholomew's Hospital, London for the use of the students there, and this is the reason why it has only recently been cremated. Your petitioner desires that the cremated remains of her said husband shall be interred in the grave of his father on the south side of the Parish Church of Eltham. Mr Andrews had lived in Elham all his life and his grand-father, father and brother are all buried in the said churchyard. Your petitioner also desires that, on her death, her cremated remains shall be interred in the same grave as those of her husband.
