6 [Illegible] to remain in prison until the end of the Assizes and if in the mean time nothing is exhibited against him by the woman whose husband died from his medicine, then he is to be whipped as a rogue.

John Duplact of Framfield, co. Sussex, husbandman, and John Duplact of Mayfield, co. Sussex, husbandman, bound to Andrew Crumpe of Hunton, yeoman, and Christopher Ippyngberry of Hunton, husbandman, churchwardens of Hunton in £10.

 

On condition of paying £5 10s. to the churchwardens of Hunton, that is 20s. presently and £4 at the feast of Annunciation next [25th March, 1604] between 1 p. m. and 4 p. m. in the south porch of Hunton church, in compliance with the order of Sir Anthony Mayney and Lawrence Washington, esq., discharging Hunton from keeping the bastard child born to Ann Gull.

 

7 A warrant to be made for the attachment of Oliver Buttler to find sureties to keep the peace at the suit of Henry Bayham, gent.

1 Robert Collip of Lenham, victualler, stopped by the justices in sessions from selling ale. Sureties, Robert Rokehuse of Boughton Malherbe, gentleman, and John Packenham of Lenham, clothier, by Sir Thomas Fludd.

1 Lewes Davyes of Tonbridge allowed to sell glasses for a whole year.
