Lymm Grammar School was founded before 1698, when it was endowed by Sir George Warburton of Arley and William Domvile of Lymm. It became a mixed school in 1902 and has occupied its present site in Oughtrington Lane, Lymm since 1957, with premises also in Grammar School Road.
