Dr Arthur Raistrick lived in Linton in Craven near Grassington and was renowned for his work in the fields of archaeology (especially industrial archaeology) and geology.

 

Many of Dr Raistrick's papers are now at the Ironbridge Gorge Museum, a copy of the catalogue of this material is available.
