Deed Declaring the uses of a fine 1) Hale Ivory of Arlesey, Yeoman and Sarah his wife (former owners. She sign by mark) 2) John Townsend of Shefford, Cordwainer 3) Solomon Endersby of Stevenage, Herts, Cooper John Endersby of Campton alias Cambleton, yeoman recites that John Endersby of Campton deceased (father of 3) gametern before his death purchased by Lease and Release from Hale Ivory and Kate his wife a messuage and orchard etc with 10 Acres of land or sward ground called the Lees alias the Leys, parish of Hawnes. Deed included Covenant to Levy a Fine recites death of John Endersby before fine levied. By his will devised premises to 2) above by Trustees Under Lease and Release of 174 'between 1) above 2) John Endersby the Elder and in consideration of £100 fully paid by John Endersby the elder, long since after Fine 2) will be deemed seized of above property for ninety nine years of Solomon or John should live so long Rents to be quarterly for the maintenance of Solomon Endersby (repairs being deducted). In the event of Solomon dying without issue to revert to John Endersby |
