Confirmation of gift

 

Richard, King of the Romans = (1)

 

Oliver de Dinaunt = (2)

 

Confirmation by (1) of a gift by Isolda de Kardinan, widow, in her independent (ligia) and free widowhood, to (2), of the manors of Cardinan and Botardel.

 

Ricardus dei gracia Romanorum Rex semper augustus omnibus Christi fidelibus ad quos presens scriptum pervenerit salutem et omne bonum. Donacionem concessionem et carte confirmacionem quam Ysolda de Kardinan in ligia et libera viduitate sua fecit nobili viro Oliuero de Dinaunt de maneriis de Cardinan et Botardel cum omnibus suis pertinenciis ratam habemus et gratam eam pro nobis et heredibus nostris prout in carta quam idem Oliuerus de predicta Ysolda habet plenius continetur concedimus et confirmamus. In cuius rei testimonium presenti scripto sigillum nostrum duximus apponendum. Hiis testibus [...] Dat' apud Swelles IX die Iunii regni nostri anno duodecimo.
