To Elizabeth Gadsby wife, household goods and personal estate, after her death the rents and profits of his real estate, which she is to have for life, as follows:

 

To son John Conolly Gadsby, house and shop he lives in with 6 tenements in Nixon's court, Sincil street

 

To granddaughter Caroline Gadsby, daughter of second son George, house and premises in his own occupation and 2 houses in occupation Rebecca Hazleby and Ann Fish in Jobbers Square and Friars Lane

 

Anne, widow of his third son William, for life, house in occupation John Mills and David Sharp in High Street St. Botolph and 5 houses in Gadsby Row in same parish

 

To granddaughter Louisa Asman, daughter of his daughter Louisa, house in Jobbers Square and tenement in Friars Lane

 

To granddaughter Ann Elizabeth Asman, daughter of his daughter Louisa, the house occupied by Mary Drawcock, Jobbers Square and tenement in Friars Lane

 

To daughter Ann Newbold for life and then to her children the house and shop in the High Street St. Botolph and 5 tenements in Gadsby's Row in the same parish

 

To son Henry Gadsby, a shop in Sincil street and 4 tenements in Gadsby's Court and 2 tenements in Blind lane, Waddington

 

To son Edward Gadsby, the house and shop in occupation and other tenements in Boerwood street Northampton

 

To grandchildren Jenney, George and Tom Ellis children of daughter Betsy Eillis, 6 houses in Gadsby's court in St. Swithin

 

To son James Gadsby, the house and shop in Sincil street city of Lincoln and 5 houses known as Burley's houses in Nixon's court, Sincil street

 

Trustees W. Battle Maltby druggist and Joseph Maltby druggist with his wife Elizabeth Gadsby executors

Because of the death of his son James, property devised to him to go to his widow and children as long as she does not re-marry or for life, afterwards to grandsons James Arthur Gadsby, William Sisley Gadsby and Edgley Percy Gadsby
