Catalogue description ANTIQUARIAN NOTES AND PHOTOGRAPHS OF FLORENCE BAGUST

Pieces D/F/BAG/1 - 15 are volumes of notes, the first nine being titled "Some notes on Clapton Past and Present". Copies of these volumes, together with an index, are available in the Search Room.

Pieces D/F/BAG/16 - 24 are volumes of notes on historical matters.

The remains of Bagust's collection of glass negatives make up D/F/BAG/25/1 - 241. Film negatives were made from these about 1981, and prints made from the film negatives. These prints are stored in the photographic sequence at P 8691/1 - 241 (large). They are indexed in the Illustrations index, with the numbers of the film negatives.

The Bagust collection also included glass lantern slides; these were incorporated in the general sequence of glass lantern slides, and cannot be separately identified.
