Report by F Salmon, Manager [of RSPCA Heathrow Hostel?] of an overseas mission conducted 19 July-10 August 1955, accompanied by Mr H Terry, Chief Cargo Officer, BOAC to assess the suitability of passenger aircraft freight and baggage holds for the transport of live animals, covering 26,000 miles across the Middle East and Asia, and including a meeting with RSPCA Singapore Branch regarding the capture and export of monkeys for research purposes. Enclosed copies of correspondence addressed to Mr F Johnson, BOAC Traffic Planning Superintendant at London Airport [Heathrow].
