A school chapel was erected in Cyprus Road, Bootle, in 1888. It was highly successful and was extended in 1893. In 1903 a new church was built in Marsh Lane and the Cyprus Road premises became a Sunday School. The school was enlarged in 1916 and 1921, but thereafter a decline set in, and, when the premises were blitzed in 1941, it was decided not to rebuild. |
