By 1894 the property belonged to Richard Fladgate, subject to a mortgage of 1891 by Richard and Henry Fladgate (d. 21 Apr 1892) to Paine and Brettell. In 1894 Richard Fladgate conveyed 3 cottages and land, formerly part of Hightrees Farm.
