Letter Book. Feb. 19th 1818 to Aug. 2nd 1819.

The book is in basic chronological order although there are lots of discrepancies. At the front of the volume is a loose sheet with a rough index by James Watt. The bound index pages have been partly filled in. The folio numbers are original. nb: the spelling of the name 'Muirhead' has been listed as written, ie 'Muirheid'.
