These records had previously been purchased by the vendor at a sale at Sotheby's, London, on 5 July 1977 (Lot 5) Some of the items in this collection, mainly correspondence, are photocopies of the original documents, which the vendor had purchased in the sale, but which the B.R.O. was not able to purchase from him This catalogue also includes one item purchased from Parliament Piece, Ramsbury, near Marlborough, Wiltshire, 18 January 1979 (AR 12/79) |
