Thomas Clarell, senior, esquire and Thomas Clarell, his son and heir, to Thomas Momforth of Kilnhirst. Messuage, croft and 13 acres and one rood in Kilnhurst (specified) exchanged for 13 and a half acres in the Estryddyng. Aldewerke, 29th September (Michaelmas), 1437. Attached is a schedule in English of the lands which Thomas Mountforth has exchanged with Clarell and the rents to be paid, Mountforth paying to Clarell twelve pence a year for payment to the chief lord of the fee, viz: the hospital of St. John in Kilnhirst. |
