Description:

2. Peter Jacobs and Jacob Van Brugh of London, merchants.

 

Sale by (1) to (2) of 40 tons of alum, half this in white alum and the other half in red alum, to be loaded at Whitby or Tease before August 15th and shipped to Amsterdam and there delivered to John Neese, merchant or his assigns. (1) to bear all hazards until the arrival of the alum at Amsterdam, though (2) shall pay for the carriage. (1) to receive £520 at the house of Peter Jacobs in St. Margarets parish near new Fish Street, the first payment of £50 to be returned if the alum fails to arrive safely in Amsterdam.
