Conveyance: for £50: (i) William Hulton, (ii) John Hallows of Little Lever, cotton manufacturer, & (iii) John Gorst of Preston, gent. -- reversion of cottage & garden (10p) in Farnworth, in the tenure of John Sharples, bounded on the east by lands of Mr. Thomas Heywood, on west & south by by occupation road, from the Manchester & Bolton Turnpike to the cottage, & south(sic) by a branch of the occupation road leading to the cottage of George Grundy -- reversion due on termination of lease of 29 Jun. 1739 to John Sharples for 3 lives, of which Mary (73) daughter of J.S. is only life in being.
