Diaries kept by Helena Turner of Cheltenham, 1944-85

 

Mrs. Turner and her husband moved to Cheltenham from Yorkshire in 1940. Mr. & Mrs. Turner enjoyed music, theatre-going, and visits to art galleries and in addition to family and domestic news, the diaries provide accounts of their visits to concerts, plays, and exhibitions. Mr. Turner died in February 1986.
