Indenture of assignment and release between Robert Ferguson of Lime Street, London, esq., and Mary his wife (one of the daughters of Joseph Townsend the elder, brewer, of London, deceased) of the first part, Elizabeth Reynardson, wife of Abraham Reynardson, haberdasher, of London (another of the daughters of Joseph Townsend senior) of the second part, Elizabeth Swanwick of London, spinster, John Voyce of Sudbury, co. Suffolk, staymaker, and Hannah his wife of the third part and Joseph Townsend of New Burlington Street, co. Middx., esq., son and heir of Joseph Townsend the elder, deceased, of the fourth part (reciting no. ER 3/2023 and the recitals therein), whereby it was witnessed that the persons of the first, second and third parts, for various considerations therein stated, released Joseph Townsend from all further claim and interest in any property to which they were entitled under the said marriage settlement or will of Joseph Townsend senior. Witnesses: John Rayner, John Humphreys, Samuel Sabin and Thomas Homer. |
