This church stood at the junction of Durham Road and South Street where a lecture hall and school were built in 1886 and a church in 1893. It was originally a Primitive Methodist Church at the head of the Gateshead First Circuit, but later became part of Gateshead East Circuit. The church closed in 1964. |
