Series of bi-annual rentals of the Gloucestershire, Somerset and Wiltshire estates of Thomas Long of South Wraxall and Whaddon (d.1759). Similar to serial number 964. Places mentioned are Iron Acton, Steeple Ashton, West Ashton, Atworth, Biddestone, Box, North Bradley, Bristol, Cheddar, Webbington in Compton Bishop, Hampton in Highworth, Haugh in Bradford, Holt, Keevil, Melksham, Sherston Pinkney, Poulshot, Seend, Slaughterford, Raysfield Farm in Dodington, Southwick, Sutton Veny, Tytherton Kellaways, Tarnock in Badgworth, Wellow, Whaddon, and South Wraxall, also for Meysey Hampton in 1749 only. After 1756 Iron Acton, Keevil, Southwick and Wellow drop out, for which refer to serial number 947/972. The last account is marked for the deceased's executrixes, his daughters Mary and Anne Long of Whaddon. |
