History: | Senta Hirtz trained in Germany c1930 and came to London as a refugee from Nazi Germany, where she stayed for the rest of her life. She was in one of the early relief teams to the concentration camps. Her autobiography and private papers are in the Wiener Library. Her anthropologically influenced paintings are in the Art Section of the Steiner Institute. |
