History: Neville Stuart Talbot (1879 - 1943) was a son of Edward Stuart Talbot (1844-1934, 1st Warden of Keble College 1869 - 1888, Vicar of Leeds 1889 - 1895, then in turn Bishop of Rochester, Southwark & Winchester). Father E Keble Talbot was Neville Stuart Talbot's brother. Neville was born on 21 Aug 1879 at Keble College. He served in the South African War before taking orders (1909) and was a Fellow & tutor at Balliol College 1909 - 1914. During 1914 - 1919 he was a Chaplin to the Forces, then served as Bishop of Pretoria between 1920 - 1932. He was instituted to St. Mary's Nottingham, on 8 Apr 1933; he served as assistant Bishop of Southwell and remained at St Mary's until his death on 3 Apr 1943.
