History: Paul Eugene Edmond Barbier (b 1846 France, d 1921, Croydon) married in 1872 Euphemie Delphine Marie Bornet (b 1847 Switzerland, d 1923 Croydon). They had 10 children: Paul Emil Auguste (1873-19470; Stephanie Uline Marie Georgina (1875-1958); George Charles Jules (1876-1921); Jules Edmond (1877-1927); Ernest Edmond Charles (1879-18800; Edmond Louis Eugene (1881-1959); Euphemia Pauline Isabelle Julie (1884-1964); Isabella Eugenie (1885-1982); Uline Julia (1887-1953) and Eugence Edmond (1890-1890). Paul EE Barbier was one of the first lecturers in French Language and Literature at University College of South Wales (Cardiff University as it is known today).
