History:	Formed from a merger, in 1984, between Moorclose Boys (Secondary Modern) School and Salterbeck School (1954-1984). Also took some pupils from Newlands School and Lillyhall School. In September 2015, it merged with Stainburn School and Science College (1984-2015) to become Warrington Academy.
